What information Marcon Groupe LLC collects, why, where it is held, and who else can see it. Last updated 29 September 2026.
Who this covers
Marcon Groupe LLC ("Marcon Groupe", "we") is a commercial consulting firm. This policy covers two distinct things: information collected from visitors to marcongrp.com, and data accessed through Google APIs by the internal application we use to operate advertising accounts on behalf of our clients. The two are separate systems and are described separately below.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
Information collected through this website
If you submit the contact form, we receive the name, email address, and message you provide. That submission is delivered to us by Formspree, a third-party form processing service, and is then held in our business email. We use it to respond to your enquiry and to maintain a record of our correspondence. We do not add contact form submissions to a marketing list.
This site loads a Google Ads tag, which sets cookies used to measure whether a visit followed an advertisement and to report aggregate conversion activity. It does not tell us who you are. You can prevent these cookies through your browser settings or through Google's own advertising controls at myadcenter.google.com.
Our hosting provider records standard server logs, including IP address and user agent, as part of delivering the site.
Data accessed through Google APIs
Marcon Groupe operates an internal application that manages Google Ads accounts on behalf of clients who have engaged us to do so. The application authenticates through Google OAuth using the Google Ads API scope, and it is granted access only by an account owner or administrator who explicitly authorises it.
What the application reads.
Campaign, ad group, keyword, ad, and asset configuration. Budget and bidding settings. Performance metrics such as impressions, clicks, cost, and conversions. Conversion action configuration. Account change history, used to detect changes made outside the system. Billing status where it affects whether campaigns are serving.
What the application writes.
Where a client has authorised it, the application can adjust campaign budgets and campaign status within limits that client has approved in advance. Every change it makes is recorded, attributed, and reconciled against the account's own change history.
What it does not do.
The application does not access Gmail, Google Drive, Google Contacts, or any Google service other than Google Ads. It does not receive the personal details of an advertiser's own customers; the Google Ads API reports aggregate performance, not the identities of the people who saw or clicked an advertisement. The application is used only for the accounts of clients who have engaged Marcon Groupe, and never to access an account we have not been retained to manage.
Limited use.
Data obtained through Google APIs is used solely to operate and report on the advertising accounts it came from. We do not sell it. We do not transfer it to anyone except the service providers described below, and then only as necessary to run the system. We do not use it to serve advertising to any individual, and we do not use it to train generalised artificial intelligence or machine learning models.
Where data is held, and who can reach it
Advertising data retrieved through Google APIs is stored in a private database controlled by Marcon Groupe and hosted in the United States. Access is limited to Marcon Groupe personnel who need it to perform the engagement.
OAuth credentials are encrypted before they are written to disk, each client's credentials under a separate key, and the system provides no facility for reading a stored credential back. When a credential is in doubt, it is re-authorised rather than retrieved.
We rely on a small number of service providers in the course of operating: Google (advertising platform and APIs), GitHub Pages (website hosting), Formspree (contact form delivery), and Microsoft 365 (business email). Each processes data only as needed to provide its service.
Client-supplied business data
Some engagements involve clients sending us business data such as revenue, transaction, or booking records so that advertising performance can be measured against outcomes. That data is used only for the engagement it was provided for, is held under the same controls described above, and is returned or deleted at the end of the engagement on request.
How long we keep things
Advertising and performance data is retained for the duration of the engagement and for a reasonable period afterwards, so that historical performance remains available for comparison. Correspondence is retained in line with ordinary business record-keeping. Any client may ask us to delete the data associated with their accounts, and we will do so except where we are required to retain a record.
Withdrawing access
A client who has granted the application access to a Google Ads account can withdraw it at any time, either by removing our access within Google Ads or by revoking the authorisation at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Withdrawing access stops all further data collection immediately. To also have previously collected data deleted, contact us and we will confirm once it is done.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected, or to have it deleted. Write to us at the address below and we will respond within a reasonable period.
Children
This website and our services are directed at businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes in a way that affects how we handle information, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where the change is material, notify affected clients directly.
